Three 2 days 1 night beach trips near Ho Chi Minh City cost less than $100

Ho Chi Minh City is connected to many beach places, and they are not far away, so you may enjoy them whenever you want. Here are some ideas from local Vietnamese for two-day, one-night beach getaways near Ho Chi Minh City that will cost you no more than $100, if not less. Can Gio and Vung Tau will not be mentioned in this article since they are well-known, but if you are new to Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City, those places are worth a visit; nevertheless, we will cover them in another post. Let’s get started!

Tan Thanh Beach

This is an alluvial beach in Tien Giang’s Go Cong Dong district, around 80 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City. Because the sea has murky water, which is mostly used for clam harvesting, few people visit to cool down. Popular visitor activities include photographing the “Lonely Cork Tree” aka “Photographic Cork Tree”, walking the 300-meter pier, relaxing in the wind, and eating seafood at coastal eateries.

However, you can shift the wind by camping overnight, watching the sunrise at sea, or studying people’s daily livesā€¦ Necessary tools for the trip include tents, tarpaulins, chairs, tables, cooking utensilsā€¦ which you should bring from Ho Chi Minh City because there is no rental camping service here.

You can make a camp here and enjoy the night while waiting for morning.

The campsite is in the photographic cork tree region; tourists can ask locals for instructions or use Google Maps. This area contains a lot of houses and shops; before you come, you can go to Tan Thanh Market and get any food and fish you want. Clams, snails, scallops, shrimp, squid, and other seafood are fairly priced. If you can’t cook for yourself, you can eat and drink at eateries along the beach, which are only open during the day. To avoid being overcharged, you should select restaurants with clear names and avoid field shops with no names.

Long Hai Beach

Long Dien district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, about 3 hours by automobile from Ho Chi Minh City. This is a site where visitors can have a variety of experiences. On the road to Long Hai, you will pass the Phuoc Hai pagoda, also known as the “bun rieu” pagoda, which is located on National Highway 51 in Dong Nai province and offers free vegetarian noodle soup to visitors.

Long Hai beach is a natural wonderland of blue sea, white waves, and rocks.

Long Hai is a beach near Ho Chi Minh City, well-known for its spiritual tourist works, such as Dinh Co Temple, Minh Dam Mountain, and Monkey Pagoda, which are must-see sites for travelers. Furthermore, Long Hai fishing village and Dinh Co night seafood market are two places where you may enjoy seafood at a reasonable price. To prevent getting overcharged, don’t be afraid to inquire for the price before ordering; meals such as oysters, grilled octopus, fried snails with garlic, seafood fried rice, and so on typically cost between 15,000 and 150,000 VND.

Dinh Co is a popular spiritual destination for tourists.

Not to mention the sunrise at Long Hai Beach, where you may see fisherman rowing basket boats to capture fish or raking sand to get clams. In the afternoon, watching the sunset from Nuoc Ngot Pass is an excellent option since you can take in the entire panorama of the sea village in your heart. Long Hai offers a wide range of accommodation options, including budget hotels, homestays, and luxury resorts, with room costs ranging from 350,000 to more than 2.5 million VND a night.

Cam Binh Beach

Cam Binh beach is located in La Gi town, Binh Thuan province, approximately 160 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City and 7 kilometers from the center of La Gi town, Binh Thuan province to the south, with easy access from Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces. The clean sea path, fine beach, and green casuarina woods will amaze you the first time you visit Cam Binh.

Cam Binh Beach is well-known for camping.

The sea offers a variety of exciting sports, such as riding thrilling water motorcyclists, riding oxcarts on the beach, playing volleyball, beach soccer, and checking in with “small” lighthousesā€¦ Not to mention that Cam Binh is a long-established fishing village where you may experience the rhythm of life of fisherman through the fresh and various seafood markets.

If you have a free night in Cam Binh, you should get up early to walk on the beach and watch the dawn or sunset, as this is a romantic experience worth trying. Cam Binh is peaceful in the afternoon, with the sound of waves, and the exposed rocks have a wonderful shape as the water recedes.

Popular accommodation services in this area include seaside resorts with swimming pools, which are ideal for couples, families, or large groups of friends, as well as company team building. Suggestions include the Bao Anh Sunset Beach resort, Aurora Resort LaGi, and Cam Binh resort, all of which start at 950,000 VND per night. If you enjoy camping, you can go to Coco Beach Camp, a coastal campsite with a variety of amenities and dramatic and colorful outdoor shooting opportunities.

    Hi Chau,
Can you inform me which local travel organisation would be best to assist me with my plan to visit Vietnam in October. I got an idea of an itinerary, and would like to discuss this with a specialist. I will travel alone, (with a simple budget), but will need assistance from day 3 to day 12
For organizing driving around, transfers, domestic flight or night-train, etc.
Iā€™m not interested in fancy restaurants or idem excursions, just simple things.

Would like to hear from you.
    Thanks & kind regards, Erik
